Bakuriani Snowmaking
The Georgian ski resort of Bakuriani is getting ready to host the 2023 Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships by developing its infrastructure, that includes 3 new ski lifts in the area, built by the international manufacturer of ropeways, cable cars and ski lifts the Doppelmayr Garaventa Group. The innovative, latest model ski lifts are distinguished by the fact that it has underground garage as well. Each ski lift has six seats and the total capacity of all three ski lifts is 5,400 passengers per hour at the first stage, which can be increased to a total of 7,200 passengers.

Lake Infrastructure
As part of the project FIS Freestyle Ski, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships in Bakuriani, in the areas of Didveli and Mitarbi, two artificial water reservoirs were built in the shortest possible time.The total volume of the lakes stands at 307 000 m3. Didveli − 201 433 მ3, Mitarbi − 105 948 მ3; The artificial reservoirs are designed for the complete operation of the snow-making system at the resort. In addition, they have an important function during forest fires: aviation from the lakes will be able to replenish water supplies.

Trails for Bakuriani 2023
Within the framework of Bakuriani 2023, 6 new competition trails were organized at Didveli and Kokhta ski areas. During the FIS Freestyle Ski, Snowboard and Freeski World Championships, 30 competitions will be held in 7 types of winter sports, which will be hosted by the new, PGS, PSL and slopestyle trails of Didveli and Kokhta. The construction of the competition trails was completed in September 2022

The construction of the fastest ropeway complex in Transcaucasia on Zuruldi Mountain was completed in record time. The project was built by the international manufacturer of ropeways, cable cars and ski lift the Doppelmayr Garaventa Group. The project was carried out by the Austrian - Swiss company Doppelmayer-Garaventa Group. The length of the 10-seater gondola-type ski lift, connecting Hatsvali and Zuruldi is 1,421 meters, and its total capacity is 1800 passengers per hour. Zuruldi ski lift hosts its visitors since 2021-2022 winter season.
